who is tyson willey

Tyson Willey is an Orlando, Florida based web designer with over five years experience. He specializes in Adobe Flash, ColdFusion, PHP, MySQL, and Javascript, is widely proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, and considers XHTML and CSS second and third languages.

Hailing from small town, West Virginia, Tyson went against the mold, and instead of one day dreaming of mining coal, or driving steel (ala John Henry), he dreamed of becoming a ninja. After realizing that probably wasn't in the cards (what with no daimyo to assassinate) he moved on to his second passion... learning the force and flying the Millennium Falcon. Again thwarted by being in the wrong place, time, and reality at the wrong time, place, and ... uh time, he moved on to his fall back passion: WEB DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT.

He was lucky enough that a local web mogul snatched him up at the first opportunity he had and gave him a position developing Flash presentations and web sites for the Health Care industry. Though this position was both fulfilling and rewarding, the inconstant pressures of living in the anti-urban environment that is the Wild, Wonderful (along with meeting his wonderful and amazing wife) drove Tyson to seek a change in latitude... and density of Starbucks per square yard.

Thus we have reached the end of this chapter and the beginning of the one right below it.

Once arriving in the new land of Orlando, Florida, Tyson quickly took the chance to live out one of two of every adolescent boy's lifelong fantasies. He became a Video Game Tester. That sucked.

He then floated around (that's the term we use for worked in the back of a gym designing web sites for real estate investment ventures that never really panned out) for about a year before finding a happy nesting place at Chisano Marketing Group. At CMG, Tyson was given the opportunity to flourish and develop ColdFusion and Flash applications to his fullest content. They have foosball there, and fresh columbian coffee in pre-packaged, foil packets that say, 'Fresh, Columbian Coffee' on them. Life is good there. There are Art Directors and Copy Writers, Account Executives and Media Buyers... everything a growing web professional needs.
